Arena 51's mission is to provide a fun, social, safe, and entertaining atmosphere for people of all ages, which was previously non-existent in Rochester.
The Staff
Arena 51 is owned and operated by an RIT Alumni and RIT students who decided that starting a business would be a lot more exciting than working for a large monotonous corporation. The idea was born as an independent study at RIT, however it evolved into a full fledge business. The business was founded in July of 2004 and work was started on the facility in late September. The staff at Arena 51 did all the renovations; from painting the walls to laying down the carpet. After much hard work the facility was opened on October 28th. Since the opening Arena 51 has hosted may popular lock-ins and Counter-Strike Tournaments. The staff prides themselves in customer services by interacting with other gamers on the same level.
Location
Arena 51 is located at 376 Jefferson in Rochester, NY. The facility is located in Jefferson Road right across the street from South Town Plaza.
Bus Schedule
For an easy way to get to Arena 51 from RIT, just take the bus! Go to Gleason and take the bus from Gleason and get off at South Town Plaza and walk across the street. When you want to go back to RIT just take the Jefferson plaza stop and you will be back on campus in 5 minutes. No need to go through every stop in the book!
